Event Overview

In line with the sustainability and energy transition visions, MENA is set to become a global leader of power diversification and conservation. The region is striving to meet its growing energy demands caused by urban and industrial expansion and the local economies have to invest $209 billion (Dh767bn) in the power sector over the next five years for its electricity needs.

The overall investment in the MENA energy sector could reach $1 trillion till 2023, with the power sector accounting for the largest share of the spending at 36 per cent, according to latest Mena Power Investment Outlook report by The Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation - Apicorp.

In lights of this, MENA Power Projects Conference on 21-22 September 2020, Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, will gather leading power sector stakeholders to determine the future of the region’s energy and discuss key issues in generation, transmission, distribution, and conservation.

This is the first event of its kind to feature sector-specific project showcases, strategic and technical sessions, and interactive networking sessions for industry experts keen on exploring the region’s energy potential and how innovation can help in achieving their targets thrive in the 4th industrial revolution.
